Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Mix Master Pro (“we”, “the app”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Mix Master Pro mobile app. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account info — email address, display name, optional avatar photo and bio you provide when you register or edit your profile.
- Content you create — cocktail creations, photos you attach, recipe text, regulars notes, shift entries, tips, posts, comments, direct messages, and @-mentions.
- Safety data — blocks and abuse reports you submit, including the reason and any notes you add. We retain anonymised reports for moderation.
- Subscription data — if you purchase Mix Master Pro, RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play process your purchase and provide us with the entitlement state. We never see your payment card details.
- Device data — standard log data (IP address, error reports, app version, OS) generated while you use the app. We do not run advertising or marketing trackers and we do not request App Tracking Transparency.
How we use information
- To provide the core app: drinks search, your own creations, regulars notebook, shift timer, tip calculators, AI Mixologist, and the social feed.
- To verify your subscription entitlements via RevenueCat.
- To send transactional account-related emails (e.g. password reset) where applicable.
- To detect and respond to abuse, spam, or violations of our Terms.
How we share information
- With other users — content you publish (posts, comments, captions, @-mentions, direct messages to a specific recipient, profile fields you mark public) is visible to the intended audience inside the app.
- With service providers — RevenueCat (subscriptions), OpenAI / Anthropic (AI Mixologist text and image), TheCocktailDB (public drink database). Each provider handles the data sent to it under its own privacy terms.
- For legal reasons — if required by valid legal process, or to protect rights, property, safety, or to prevent fraud.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible: your user record, cocktail creations, photos, regulars notes, shifts, posts, comments, messages, mentions, blocks, friend connections, favorites, and subscription record are removed from our database. We retain anonymised abuse reports you filed or that named you, with your user reference replaced by “[deleted]”, solely for moderation history.
If you cancel a paid subscription before deleting, please do so through the Apple App Store or Google Play — we cannot cancel store-billed subscriptions on your behalf.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, the cascade described above runs immediately. Backups may retain copies for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
Children
Mix Master Pro is intended for users aged 17 and over. It contains depictions of alcoholic drinks. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS for all network traffic, bcrypt for password hashing, and JWT-based access tokens with short lifetimes. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise most of these directly inside the app (Profile → Edit Profile) or by emailing us at support@mixmasterpro.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in-app on the next launch.
